New Gantt Chart, and other updates

We’re excited to announce a series of updates designed to improve your Fusioo experience. Our team has been working hard to refine the features that matter most to you, and we’re confident these new enhancements will make your workflow even smoother.

From faster record creation to customizable Gantt charts, and new email templates, the latest updates bring even more flexibility and ease to your daily tasks.

Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

Gantt Chart Widget

We’ve introduced a brand-new Gantt Chart widget, it is a powerful tool designed to enhance project management and scheduling by providing a visual timeline of tasks and their progress.

You can easily customize your Gantt Chart to suit your needs, making it a versatile tool for any App that involves deadlines. You can also choose to add fields like End Date, Progress, User Field, or grouping options. This flexibility ensures that important details are quickly visible on the chart.

Formatting options let you tailor your Gantt Chart further. You can apply color formatting based on statuses, exclude specific workdays, and even define the start and end times for your workday.

Need precise data? Use the Filter section to control which records are displayed on your Gantt Chart.

List Quick Create

Creating new records in the List view widget is now quicker and more intuitive. If you have create record access, you can easily add new entries from the last row in your records list whenever a list is used.

  • Quick Navigation: You can now use Tab and Shift + Tab to move through fields in a record without saving it immediately. Once you’ve filled in the last editable field, pressing Tab automatically saves the record.
  • Save and Cancel Shortcuts: Simply move the focus away from the row to save the record automatically, or press Escape to cancel and start over.
  • Required Fields Simplified: If a required field is left empty, the system will automatically focus on it. If you're already focused on the field, a helpful popup will appear to guide you, making it easy to complete.

List View widget update

We've made significant updates to enhance responsiveness and usability. Here's what's new:

  • More Interactive Design: There is a more interactive design, with hover effects and inline editing features. Editable cells (like text, email, numbers, and dates) show a blue border and a text cursor when hovered over, making it clear where you can make edits.
  • Quick Actions for Empty Fields: Select, User, and Role fields now show a "+" icon when hovering over empty cells. Clicking the "+" instantly opens the dropdown, so you can add content without extra clicks.
  • Multiline Text Fields: These now feature a text editor within the dropdown, making it easier to format and manage detailed information.
  • Faster Date Editing: Date fields have been streamlined for quicker updates, ensuring your workflow stays efficient.
  • Checklist Fields Behavior: Clicking outside a dropdown no longer automatically saves changes, giving you more control over your edits.
  • Tickbox Fields Made Simpler: A toggle icon now appears on hover, allowing you to invert the value with a single click.

These updates ensure that interacting with the List View is smoother, faster, and more intuitive than ever.

Improved Record Details Popup

You now have more flexibility when viewing record details. The Record popup is no longer fixed to your screen size or limited by the visibility of the discussions panel.

The new resizable popup feature lets you adjust the record details window to fit your preferences and workflow. You can resize either the whole Record popup or just the activity and discussions panel. This provides a more comfortable and customizable viewing experience.

New Email Templates to Choose from in Workflows

We've introduced new email templates to make your workflows even more customizable. Now, you can select the template that best suits your communication needs.

  • Plain Text: This template sends an email without any HTML formatting, offering a simple and straightforward message.
  • Classic: This template includes your company header based on your branding, followed by the email content in the body, giving your emails a more professional appearance.
  • 2-Part Template: The content is split into two sections, which can be useful for scenarios like sending an order confirmation with separate details for the customer and the business.

Choose the template that fits your workflow and ensure your emails look exactly how you want them.
