The Progress Tracker is a versatile tool designed to visually represent progress toward specific objectives.
Progress Tracker Settings
Progress tracker type
Progress Circle
A circular indicator that displays progress as a portion of a ring. This format works well when you wish to display progress in a visually engaging way.
Progress Bar
A horizontal bar that fills from left to right to indicate progress. This format is well-suited for wider areas and provides a clear, linear representation of advancement toward a goal.
Select Field you want to track
App Records
You can view the number of records in the selected app using this option. By applying widget filters, you can choose which records to include in the count.
Note: Typically, it's best to use this feature alongside Conditional Target.
Numerical Fields
You can also select Numerical Fields in your App. You can choose to display the Average, Sum, Maximum, or Minimum of the numerical value.
Target type
Fixed Target
Set a specific numerical goal to track progress toward a defined value. Just enter your target value, and progress will be tracked against that target.
Based on your Apps, you can track things like cost per lead, expenses tracking, customer lifetime value, average revenue per client, customer satisfaction metrics etc.
Conditional Target
With this option, you can set conditions that records should fulfill to be counted toward the target.
The Progress tracker will show you the number or percentage of records meeting these conditions relative to the total number of records.
Progress Tracker Formatting
Formatting lets you add additional styling options to the widget.
Show value as percentage
When enabled, the widget calculates the completion percentage based on your defined targets and presents this percentage value. This feature provides a clear, standardized view of progress, making it easier to assess performance at a glance.
Unit
The unit is used to give context to the numeric value. It can be added as prefix or suffix, using one of the default options or something custom.
Color formatting
Color formatting is used to add color to the progress tracker, based on the completion progress. You can have up to five different thresholds and the percentage values will be calculated automaitcally based on the number of thresholds.
Progress Tracker Filtering
You can apply two types of data filtering: widget filtering and saved views.
Widget filtering should be applied as a base filter.
For example, you might want a Progress Tracker widget to only take in consideration the Project assigned to the logged in user. In this case, you will need to apply the following widget filter:
Note: Widget filtering will be applied to all users.
Saved views can then be applied on the whole dashboard (unlike widget filters, that are applied per widget) and you can, for example, show only ongoing Projects, as shown below:
Note: Saved views are applied on top of widget filters. Unlike widget filtering, saved views are only applied to the user in context. You can share them with other team members.
